Thursday the 4th of February sees a feast of racing action taking place. In England Chelmsford city, Towcester, Southwell and wincanton go ahead and theirs one meeting in Ireland at Clonmel.
Hope you all followed my latest advice as SONNY THE ONE was a winner for me @ odds of 11\4. Let’s hope I can pick out a few more winners today for you.
The first horse I like is BASFORD BEN (nap) 2.10 at Towcester. From the James Cavendish stable this horse was twice a winner at Carlisle last back end and went off the boil somewhat after those efforts however this horse returned to something like his old form when finishing second at Huntingdon just three weeks ago and provided he can build on that effort he should be hard to beat in what appears to be a weaker race. S Quinlan rides this course and distance winner this afternoon.
The next horse I like is EXTREME SUPREME ( nb) 1.50 at Southwell. From the Derek Shaw stable this horse was twice a winner over course and distance last year and was then found out in higher grades since then. He returned to action on his latest start when finishing seventh here but I reckon he will be much sharper for that run and he continues to drop in the weights so he might just be ready to strike today. Martin lane is the man on board.
The next horse I like is VICANGELOME 4.05 Clonmel. From the Robert tuner stable this horse was a ready winner on heavy ground at Punchestown last time out and that piece of form bodes well in relation to this contest. Their should be lots of improvement to come from this lightly raced horse and with Philip enright in the saddle again today he should prove hard to beat.
Good luck everyone.
