Stables Tipster Friday Racing Picks

Friday the 19th of February sees a feast of racing action taking place with Fakenham,Lingfield,Sandown and Wolverhampton going ahead in the UK while in Ireland Dundalk hosts an evening meeting.

Let’s hope I can point you in the direction of a few winners.

The first horse I like is TIMES IN ANATEFKA (nap) 6.05 at Dundalk. From the Ab Joyce stable this horse returned to form recently with a solid third here to little sweetheart followed by a second placed effort last time out to a progressive sort. He only went down by a half a length that day after running extremely keenly throughout. Provided he can settle a little better here he should be well up to winning this tonight. RP Downey is the man in the saddle.
The next horse I like is KATIE TOO (nb) 2.45 at Sandown. Trained by Alan king this horse was a winner on debut in a bumper before going on to record facile wins over hurdles under similar trips and ground conditions. The slight concern is that he has raced for a while but the fact that he’s as low as 5th favourite for the mares hurdle at Cheltenham suggests he should have way too many gears for this opposition. Richard Johnson is the man on board.
The other horse I like is DANCING SHADOW e/w 4.20 at Sandown. From the stable of Victor Dartnall this horse has been a model of consistency of late finishing in the money on his last six starts albeit never getting his head in front. However I have a feeling that those races were a shade more competitive than today’s race and not be turns up today in similar form as he’s been in he should go very close to winning with promising jockey Ian Popham in the saddle again today.
Good luck everyone.
