There’s an attractive double for a couple of the late games on Sunday, May 15th.

All 30 teams will be in action on Sunday and in a couple of late-day games the San Francisco Giants will be in Phoenix to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks (4:04pm ET). Then the night cap will feature the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers to wrap the weekend up (8:05pm ET).
In the two games there really isn’t anything close to an ace heading out to the mound among the probable starters. Rubby De La Rosa of Arizona, at 4-4 on the year and with a 3.93 ERA, is the probable starter with the best stats among the four probables in the two games.
However, the D’backs remain a team that is to be picked on at home. They are just 5-15 when hosting this season for a winning percentage at home of just .250. They lost on Saturday to the Giants 5-3, a team that’s 10-8 when visiting this season. At underdog odds of 21/20 with BetVictor, San Francisco appear to be the value pick in this game this afternoon.
Both the Dodgers and the Cardinals are sending 1-3 pitchers to the mound in the late game, one that will come from Los Angeles. In many ways the game looks like a coin toss and not just due to the identical records among the starters. Los Angeles are pretty average at home so far this year at 9-10 on the season while St. Louis are 10-8 when visiting. That makes the Cards look like they are mild favorites, yet they are priced as underdogs at 13/10 again with BetVictor.
A 1-unit bet on the double returns 4.61 units and that is my recommendation for the day. For those that want to mix in an earlier game the Cubs host the Pirates at 2:20pm ET and odds of 5/8 are available on Chicago. A Chicago-San Fran-St. Louis treble produces a 7.45-unit return on a 1-unit bet.
1.5-pt bet on San Francisco and St. Louis to win in a double with BetVictor (Sunday, May 15th games)
