Nottingham Forest v Fulham, December 5, 3.00pm
The home side go into this fixture as even money favourites. The away side are priced at 11/5, as well as the draw.
Forest will be happy to start climbing the table after a good victory last time out against Reading. They came out 3-1 winners in a convincing fashion. They are still only five points from the drop zone but last weeks result will give them a lot of hope and be fairly confident they will stay clear of trouble going into the Christmas weeks. They will be aware of the fact they can leapfrog their opponents if they manage to pick up all three points and can climb a few places up the table if results go their way. Forest are not the kind of team that should be in a relegation battle and hopefully for them they can get a good run of fixture to get a respectable league position to head into the new year with.
Fulham will be disappointed with their four fixtures in November. They only picked up two points from their games and conceded ten goals in the month. They still sit relatively comfortably in the league with twenty two points, seven clear of the drop and six away from the play-off places. A few results to go their way over the next few weeks and if they can get into form there is every chance they can push their way up the table. However judging by recent form this is unlikely. Before heading into November they netted eight goals in two games. They still scored in all their November games but were too open to seal victories.
This is one of the games this weekend that is most likely to have goals. Based on recent form I think Nottingham Forest will come out as winners, but Fulham with at least give their fans a goal to shout about.
Nottingham Forest to win and Both teams to score – 3/1
