Leeds v Hull, December 5, 3.00pm
The away side are the favourites in this fixtures and can be backed at 11/10. The home side, Leeds are available at 2/1. The draw can be backed at 11/5.
Leeds will have been disappointed by the end of November with two losses in a row. They started the month with back to back wins and looked to be getting their season back on track, however now find themselves in seventeenth just four points clear of the drop zone. Last time out they will have been disappointed not to take anything away from QPR, but more painfully they were left empty handed by the struggling Rotherham at home. Leeds have always got a surprise victory in their locker so they should not be completely written off again Hull this weekend.
Hull who sat second ahead of last weekends fixtures have had a week to forget. They lost at home to Derby in the last round of Championship fixtures 2-0 and were dumped out of the League Cup by Manchester City after a good cup run. They were probably not expecting much of a result midweek against the Manchester side but will have been disappointed to drop all three points in the league and drop out of the automatic promotion places. The top of the table is still close so all is not lost for Hull if they can turn their form around this weekend. Away at Leeds will always be a tricky fixture for any side but Hull will be confident going into the game considering Leeds’ recent form.
I think Hull will be hard pressed for the three points but they will leave with them. Leeds have struggled so far this season and considering the last two performances it will take a dramatic improvement to beat Hull.
Hull to win 2-1 – 7/1
