It was another poor result for Hull, it has also resulted in Mike Phelan becoming the latest managerial casualty of the season.

Hull

Clement Starts

Swansea come into this match on the back of a morale-boosting win against struggling Palace, with Swansea completing the double over them.

They managed to put the loss of both of their home games, against sides in and around them behind them.

It was the perfect start to the reign of Paul Clement, with Sam Allardyce struggling to get off the mark at Palace.

Andrew Mawson (42), opened the scoring for the Swans, giving Swansea an advantage going into the second half.

Wilfried Zaha (83) levelled for Palace late on, in his final appearance before heading off to the African Cup of Nations.

Angel Rangel (88) completed the scoring late on, with Swansea completing a domestic double against Palace, after the 5-4 thriller.

Swans Seek Fresh Start

The search for their third manager of the season is now over, with the vastly experienced man Paul Clement appointed on Monday.

They have now scored three in the last two matches, conceding eight goals in the process, they will need to improve defensively.

Clement has no experience of managing in the Premier League, but he has been an assistant to the vastly experienced Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Swans Underdogs

Swansea head into this fixture as the underdogs, despite the recent managerial boost and the excellent midweek result.

They will be looking to register their fifth win of the season, in the process securing a fourth win in nine matches.

The Swans will be looking to improve their recent record against Hull, they have lost the last two meetings.
