Betting tips and match preview | Premier League

Bournemouth face Leicester at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in a vital match for both sides at this stage of the season.

The Cherries come into this match on the back of a 2-1 defeat against Everton, another tough result for Eddie Howe’s side.

Joshua King opened the scoring for Eddie Howe’s men, with the forward scoring a fine goal just four minutes after the restart (49).

That goal had really cranked up the pressure on Ronald Koeman, before the Dutchman turned to a player he sensationally banished last season.

Substitute Oumar Niasse scored a decisive second half double (77, 82) to spare Koeman’s blushes and secure a vital win for the Toffees.

Tough Start

For Bournemouth it is back to the drawing board, with Eddie Howe’s side having a tough start to this season.

They find themselves in 19th place in the Premier League, with just three points from their opening six matches.

Despite securing back to back wins against Brighton that result will have drained any confidence away from those wins.

Eddie Howe will need his side to dig deep and deliver an instant response, with only Palace below them in the table.

Cherries Underdogs

Eddie Howe’s side come into this match as underdogs, with their poor start informing the bookies.

This will be a tough match for Bournemouth, with luck and form against them this season.

Bournemouth will be looking to register only their 2nd win in 7 matches against Leicester.

Another Defeat

The Foxes come into this match in mixed form, having suffered another home defeat in the 3-2 loss against Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s opener early in the first half (15), with the Egyptian enjoying an excellent season.

Phillipe Coutinho scored a sensational free-kick just eight minutes later (23), with the Brazillian beating Schmeichel.

Shinji Okazaki pulled one back for the Foxes before the break (45+3), with Simon Mignolet at fault.

Jordan Henderson made it 3-1 to Liverpool midway through the second half (68), finishing a fine Reds move.

Jamie Vardy hit back for Leicester just 90 seconds later (69), handing Leicester a 3-2 lifeline.

In another moment of madness for Mignolet, he brought down striker Jamie Vardy to concede a penalty.

But the Belgian redeemed himself, saving Vardy’s poor spot kick to give Liverpool a vital 3-2 win.

Struggling Foxes

Craig Shakespeare’s men have had a tough start in the league, they find themselves on four points.

They have had an appalling fixture list, having already played four of last seasons top six in their opening six matches.

Bournemouth will be a tough proposition at home, but it is a game the Foxes must capitalise on.

Foxes Favourites

Leicester come into this match as the favourites, with the Cherries poor form informing the bookies.
