Bayern Munich welcome PSV Eindhoven to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening, in the third round of matches from the Champions League group stages.
The German Champions come into this match on the back of a 2-2 draw away at Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Goals from Arjen Robben (10) and Joshua Kimmich (62) twice gave Bayern the lead but they were unable to see the game out.
Huszti eqaualised in the 43rd minute and was subsequently sent off in the 65th, with Fabian scoring the second equaliser in the 78th minute to see out a huge point for the home side.
Bayern In Mixed Form
Bayern had gone into the weekend’s fixtures in mixed form, with two draws since their defeat against Atletico Madrid.
They have started the Champions League in mixed form as well, with an opening win and a defeat on matchday two.
Their opening fixture at home against Rostov saw Bayern enjoy the perfect start, with a 5-0 win.
Atletico Madrid presented a far greater challenge, with the Bavarians narrowly losing 1-0 away at the Vicente Calderon.
Despite their mixed form Bayern remain favourites, with their home record in the competition absolutely incredible.
They will be looking to register their second win of the competition, they will also be looking to recover from the Atleti defeat.
Bayern will be looking to make a huge step back in the group and will be targeting top spot.
PSV Eindhoven travel to the Allianz Arena on the back of a 1-1 draw against Heracles at the weekend.
It’s a result that sees PSV remain fourth in the Eredivisie, 9 points behind runaway leaders Feyenoord.
They have drawn their last three successive matches and have lost just the one game this season, against Feyenoord prior to the Rostov draw.
With five wins from their opening nine matches, they have plenty of work to do in the league.
Big Game For PSV
The Dutchmen currently sit bottom of their group, with a 2-2 draw against Rostov in their last outing.
They have registered just one point from their opening 2 matches, with the draw against Rostov their only positive result so far.
On matchday two, Rostov twice took the lead against PSV, with D Poloz bagging a double in the 8th and 37th minute.
But PSV struck back with goals from Morishige (14) and Luuk de Jong (45+2) to earn a valuable away point.
PSV come into this match as underdogs, they will be looking to register their first win in the Champions League this season.
This will be a tough fixture for the visitors, arguably the toughest of their Champions League campaign, with Bayern one of the best sides in the competition.
The Dutch side will be looking for their biggest win of the season, on form alone this is an even contest, with both sides struggling for form of late.
Both teams are 8/11 on to score. The first goalscorer odds for Bayern Munich are Robert Lewandowski at 9/4, with Thomas Muller at 7/2. For PSV, Luuk de Jong is at 10/1 with Gaston Pereiro at 16/1.
This is the first meeting between the two sides in European competition.
