Aiden Clarkes Betting Tips Sunday 21st February

Imagine my surprise and the smile i had when i looked at the plus 6.5 in the column for last race Friday night saving the whitewash and putting a small dent in the losses and making my Saturday article a bit bemusing to some of the followers. Saturday was a plus day in the singles and with my nap losing but the three next bests trebling up left me about equal and a little less doubtful of the path going forward. lots of luck all as we delve into Sundays racing from Market Rasen .Ffos Las and Naas.

DON’T TOUCH IT  3.30  NAAS  NB   I’m all over this McManus horse to complete my card double  Barry Geraghty and with Mrs John Harrington training this one expect to be collecting thanks to this 6 year old. Ground and distance not an issue so looks well in here at odds of  11/8  with  CORAL and BOYLESPORT.

THE  MUMPER  4.25  MARKET RASEN  NB  Lets just say Alan King is on fire, has his horses going well and Tom Bellamy takes 3lbs off in a race that looks like its made for this 9 year old if its end of January run is anything to go on and indicates a plus positive at odds of  6/4  with  PADDYPOWER, LADBROKES, BETFAIR  and  BETWAY.

PRESELI  ROCK  2.00  FFOS LAS  NB  Rebecca Curtis runs two in this novices hurdle and on the strength of the form preseli looks rock solid. Dropping down in grade today with Leighton Aspell hurdling expertise employed in the saddle should see this one run these rivals into the ground on a surface its proven it can handle at odds of  2/1  with  BETWAY and SKYBET.

MONKEY KINGDOM  4.50  FFOS LAS  In the year of the monkey and the full moon upon us, lats call this one king for the day and Rebecca Curtis the winning trainer. Mr H Hunt (5lb off) takes on the duty of guiding this one around and provided it is ridden patiently should see out the trip and see off its rivals at odds of  10/11  with  BETFAIR  and  BET365.

DRUIDS  FOLLY  5.20  FFOS LAS  “like many’s a wise Druid ,Upon the Lunar glare, made haste upon the slippy ground, and fell into a folly”. Well lets hope that we are up on the treble after Rebecca Curtis gets this one across the line first with Leighton Aspell again combining to hopefully treble effect in this low grade event at odds of  8/13  with  SKYBET.

CHOCCA WOCCA  2.10  MARKET RASEN  With Awesome Rosie a tad high in the weights but sure to run a true race .that could be an ideal lead out for Chocca Wocca. I think Nico de Boinville will settle this one in midfield and coax it along till two out and as Nicky sorry Mr Henderson would say “push the button and see what it can really do” at odds of  4/6  with  BETVICTOR  and  LADBROKES.

LAC SACRE  3.10  FFOS LAS  This race is right up there in the what  family’s  live and train near here and enjoy their Sunday racing. The Flints look the pick of the teams and Lac Sacre has the form and pedigree to take this by a country mile if its anywhere its December outings at odds of  6/5  with  LADBROKES.

CLEMENCY  2.45  MARKET RASEN   I’m going against the Fry favourite in this one today and instead relying on more solid form from the Nicky Henderson yard. I think this one has a bit more to offer after winning its last two times out. Andrew  Tinkler gets the mount and should show no clemency to its rivals today at odds of  7/2  with  BET365, BOYLESPORT, PADDYPOWER, CORAL, BETFAIR  and  WILLIAMHILL.

BALLYALTON  3.55  MARKET RASEN  Aidan Coleman learned a fair lesson when racing with Vyta du roc who won and took a tumble in a race that should have been ridden more tactically . Back over a more suitable trip and provided all is well and it runs should be given another chance at odds of  6/4  with  SKYBET, WILLIAMHILL, and  BETFAIR. NR  plump for lockstockandbarrel @ 3/1
